I knew friday was going to be a busy day, what with lectures, seminars and then one of my best friends visiting me to stay the night, so I needed something casual, easy yet I knew it would have to look good too

I layered one of the cutest dresses I own, with tie-up sleeves and a ruffled skirt section. To adapt it for a more Autumn look I wore a plain white t-shirt under it. The dress was a little too short to be worn with tights, so I opted for opaque black leggings and then wore my longer boots (my feet have finally recovered.)

To keep me warm I added my (new favourite) grey jacket.
